Mrs. Jennifer Peloquin
This is Ms. Peloquin’s 7th year serving as the Principal of Palos West. Ms. Jennifer Peloquin was also the Assistant Principal of Palos West for three years. Prior to her administrative duties, she was a teacher. Ms. Peloquin taught various grade levels for ten years, with several of those years teaching here at Palos West. In addition, Jennifer was a Supervisor of Clinical Experiences working with student teachers through University of Illinois as well as a presenter with Summit Professional Education. Ms. Peloquin has grown as an educator in District 118 and is dedicated to the students, staff, and community.
Jennifer received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Eastern Illinois University, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Francis.
Jennifer is proud to work at Palos West Elementary. She strives to focus on the “whole child” providing support to students, staff, and parents to ensure both a successful academic and social-emotional experience. She works collaboratively with her colleagues to ensure students have a safe learning environment, a rigorous curriculum, differentiated instruction, and an overall positive experience at Palos West.
Ms. Rosalie White
Ms. White has served as assistant principal at Palos south middle school, a classroom teacher, art teacher and library media specialist in 118 over the last 10 years . Ms. White is honored to continue her growth as a 118 administrator in the role of assistant principal at Palos West. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Saint Xavier University, a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Dominican University and a second Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Francis University.
Rose collaborates with Mrs. Peloquin to ensure that every student receives a challenging and quality education, and has a positive educational experience. She embraces a sharing and collaborative school culture that takes risks in an effort to do great things. Rose looks forward to taking an active role in the learning community to support and encourage high expectations and a safe school environment.
