Virtual Field Trips

Slime in Space Nickelodeon partnered with two astronauts on the International Space Station to demonstrate how slime reacts to micro-gravity and had kids reproduce those same demonstrations back here on Earth.  All Grade Levels Science
The Farm Farm Fresh 360 allows students to visit a Canadian farm.  The tour includes raising pigs to making milk and cheese.  Choose the type of farm you want to visit once you are at the site. Pre-K  Science

Metropolitan Museum of Art The Met provides 26 online galleries. All Grade Levels Art
Birthplaces of Music A fully interactive virtual field trip through the world of music history.  Students can visit the birthplaces of jazz, rock `n’ roll, classical and country. All Grade Levels Music
The National Museum of Natural History A self-guided virtual experience that will take students through various rooms.  This includes the Bone Hall where students can look at all the different kinds of skeletons. All Grade Levels History
Adventures in Familyhood This site has a list of 20 virtual field trips you can take with your child.  They have art museums, zoos, aquariums, and various locations around the world. All Grade Levels All Subject Areas
Disney World and Disney Land Even though these world-famous parks are closed for the foreseeable future, you can get the Disney experience without leaving your home. Experience rides in the Magic Kingdom, explore the Animal Kingdom, watch shows in Epcot or stroll through Hollywood Studios. For a real blast from the past, you can even virtually experience rides and shows that no longer operate. To complete the experience, click onto their playlist of hotel and transportation videos.
