Student Report Cards / Scale
Report Card Information
Communication between home and school is a central element necessary to insure a positive school experience for every child. Student progress reports are issued quarterly at the middle school and by trimester at the elementary level. These reports are intended to communicate your child’s progress in school, both academically and socially. Parents are encouraged to talk with their child, as well as the appropriate teacher, on a regular basis to ensure a successful school experience.

Student Support Programs
All three schools have reading resource teachers who provide additional reading instruction for at-risk students. The media centers in each school offer a wide selection of books, magazines, and media.
An at-risk pre-K school program for 3-5 year old children is located at Palos West School. This half-day program is designed to help young children become ready to learn when entering kindergarten. Students are identified through a pre-school screening process. For information on pre-school screenings, please call (708) 761-5807.
