The eighth grade Palos South Capstone Program began in 2015. The students are engaged in a problem-based learning project that is community based and will run for approximately 30 sessions. Capstone will follow an inquiry approach to learning that involves a process of exploring several different solutions to real world issues which will lead students to ask questions and make discoveries in search of new understandings and outcomes. Our inquiry model has been adopted from the Stripling Inquiry Process model. The first phase of the process is Initiating Inquiry.
