Dear Palos 118 Families,

We have one more week to go before we close out the 2020-2021 school year!  I have a couple of reminders for families regarding next week.

Tuesday, June 15

Our June Board of Education meeting is on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.  The meeting will be live-streamed and recorded.  I'll be presenting an update on our planning for the next school year.  I encourage parents to watch the meeting live or the recording at a later date, so they have the latest information regarding plans for next year.  As a reminder, we will be returning to our normal school schedules for SY21-22.

Palos South Graduation will be held at the Stagg High School Football Stadium at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16.  Tickets are required for this event.  If you have any questions regarding graduation, please contact the Palos South Office.  Congratulations Class of 2021!  We are so proud of our 8th graders and will always remember the adversity they overcame to make their final year at Palos 118 a success.  We look forward to hearing about their many future successes in high school and beyond.

End of Year Device Collection – More information

Beginning on June 14th, student devices will remain in the buildings and not go home. Students can continue to use the devices in class. Please remind your student(s) to bring their device, charger, and case to school. Please ensure all personal belongings are removed from the cases, and all stickers that the student has added are removed. District staff will be inventorying and inspecting devices on June 14th and 15th.  If any devices or accessories need repair or replacement, the school technology team will coordinate with the student/family.
