The mission, vision, and beliefs of Palos 118 focus on providing the best education possible for children. The Board of Education annually develops goals and action targets designed to accomplish the mission. There are three major goals.

Students donated handmade fleece blankets to Knitting It Together which supports area hospitals.
The Palos South Cheer squad recently placed second in the Spartan Showdown cheer competition hosted at Marian Catholic High School in January.
The event will be held online on Feb. 27 starting at 6:30 p.m.
Voters will be asked to approve a shift of $4.35 million in funds currently being collected for the District’s debt service fund to its operating fund in order to address growing budget shortfalls.
Palos South’s eighth grade girls’ basketball team recently won the Southwest Interscholastic Conference (SWIC) Championship.
