OUR MISSION
The mission, vision, and beliefs of Palos 118 focus on providing the best education possible for children. The Board of Education annually develops goals and action targets designed to accomplish the mission. There are three major goals.
Our Mission: Palos Community Consolidated School District 118 is a fiscally responsible school community that engages all students to become confident, adaptive and productive life-long learners.

Palos South Boys Volleyball Teams Top Post-Season Tournament
Both teams topped the post-season tournament with the eighth Cardinals tying for first place in the SWIC Conference.

Palos East Student Council Project Helps Ronald McDonald House
As part of their community service project this year, the Palos East Student Council assembled treat bags for Ronald McDonald House in Oaklawn.

ALPS Students Rack Up Awards at Young Inventor Challenge
The fourth-grade students in the Accelerated Learning Program at Palos East and Palos West Elementary Schools participated in the competition in the junior (K - 4th grade) junior division and won awards in 5 of 6 categories.

Girls Cross Country Team Takes 3rd Place in SWIC
The team placed third in the conference and first in the open 2-mile race.
