OUR MISSION
The mission, vision, and beliefs of Palos 118 focus on providing the best education possible for children. The Board of Education annually develops goals and action targets designed to accomplish the mission. There are three major goals.

Palos South Middle School’s eighth grade boys’ basketball team finished second in the post season Southwest Interscholastic Conference (SWIC) in March.
Both Palos South Middle School girls’ volleyball teams won their championship games during the Southwest Interscholastic Conference (SWIC) Post-Season Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, March 11.
Palos East third grader Maria Koutsis has been selected as the winner of the Storyworks 3 nonfiction writing contest for October and November 2023.
Every year during the week leading up to the Superbowl, students at Palos 118’s West Elementary host a non-perishable food drive to benefit local food pantries.
Palos East families can donate materials to the school's art program between Feb. 6 & 14.
Palos 118 student artwork will be on display at McCord Gallery during the month of February with an opening reception on Feb. 5.
