OUR MISSION
The mission, vision, and beliefs of Palos 118 focus on providing the best education possible for children. The Board of Education annually develops goals and action targets designed to accomplish the mission. There are three major goals.

School News
Pam Paris, a member of the Palos School District 118 Board of Education, has been recognized by the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) for her participation in a number of professional development and leadership activities during her service as a school board member.
Student council members at Palos East Elementary School recently completed a successful food drive to benefit a local food pantry ahead of the holiday season.
Students in Palos South Middle School National Junior Honor Society recently assembled over 100 goodie bags to donate to Guest House Chicago.
The Palos 118 Educational Foundation will host a trivia night fundraiser on Feb. 4 beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Palos School District 118 is looking for short term substitute teachers and will host a 1-day training on December 4 for candidates to earn their Short-Term Substitute teacher license. The training will run from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Students from Palos East and West Elementaries participated in the event on November 4th and 5th in Chicago.
