Constitution Scrapbook
The scrapbook will consist of 10 articles and 2 political cartoons. You may find the articles from newspapers, magazines or internet (i.e. www.suntimes .com). Political cartoons may come from the same sources.

Each article will consist of three parts. 1. The article needs to be affixed to a page. 2. You need a short summary of the article (2-5 sentences). 3. The last item is how the article relates to the Constitution. Please place one article or cartoon per page. EXAMPLE OF ARTICLE

The same will be done with the political cartoons. The difference will be that you need to explain what the political cartoon means. EXAMPLE OF POLITICAL CARTOON

Remember you will gain more knowledge about the Constitution as we study it. You are free to use any sources that you wish. If you are not sure you can ask. Your parents may prove to be valuable in helping find the articles and their relationship to the Constitution.

This project meets the state of Illinois goals for Social Studies.
