Project Scenario:
The year is 2015. You are 30 years old. You have just bought a house that was built in 1945 as a result of the GI bill. As you are moving in, you find an old, dusty trunk in the attic. You pry open the chest and begin to sift through the 1950's memorabilia.
Based on the pictures in the time capsule, develop a list of questions for research about life in the 1950's. Take this information and create an authentic 1950's newscast. Based on your research, choose a prominent figure in the 1950's whose life interests you. Go to the library and check out an auto/biography on that person. When you complete the book, prepare a biography presentation on that person. (Hint: Click on objects in the chest for a list of famous people in the 1950's.)
