| Have you read the book Deathwatch
by Robb White? This story takes place in a desert. The desert is
a very dangerous place. There are mountains, sandstorms and scarce food.
The desert is also a dry place. There is no water, the sand is dry and
there is scarce plant life. The desert seems large. There is open space
everywhere. The nearest town is forty-five miles away, and the desert has
mountain ranges.
Ben is the main character in the story. He is twenty- two and has short brown hair. Ben is a brave man. He tries to get to town from the desert, he hunts with Medec,an evil man, and he is alone in the desert. Ben is also strong. He goes without water for days, and he climbs a mountain. He also endures pain. Ben was left alone in the desert and couldn't find his way out, and it was forty-five miles to the nearest town. It got my attention when Medec shot a man. To make matters worse, Medec leaves Ben alone in the desert. It was relieving when Ben found water. Ben learned how to survive in the desert. The book wasn't interesting. It was a pretty boring book.The author used great word choice and imagery. |
