Sheila Pacholski

Mrs. Pacholski has been a member of the Board of Education since 1999. She currently serves as Board Vice President. Mrs. Pacholski is the Chairperson of the Board of Education Finance Committee and the Go Green Committees. She serves on the Palos 118 Community Park and Nature Preserve Development Committee and is a Board liaison to the Palos 118 Educational Foundation. In previous years, Mrs. Pacholski has also served as Board of Education President, Vice-President and Secretary, and was a member of the Partners in Building Solutions Committee during building construction and renovations. Mrs. Pacholski was active in the PFA and MPA and served on many committees and is an IASB Master Board Member. Mrs. Pacholski holds a B.A. from Lewis University, graduate work at George Williams College, and is a certified Public Accountant licensed and practicing in Illinois. Catherine Maier

Mrs. Maier has been a member of the Board of Education since 2005. She currently serves as Chairperson of the Board Technology Committee and TAB Committee. Mrs. Maier also serves on the Policy Committee and is a liaison to the PFA. Mrs. Maier has been a former PFA officer. Mrs. Maier’s community service includes volunteering for the Children’s Farm in Palos Park. She has a B.A. in Management Informational Systems from Lewis University, an A.S. in Computer Science from Moraine Valley Community College, and a R.N. in Nursing from the Little Company of Mary School of Nursing. MariJo Calacci

Mrs. Calacci has been a member of the Board of Education since April 2011. She is a board certified CPA and has a B.S. in Accountancy. Mrs. Calacci is the Chairperson of the Board of Education Landscape Beautification Committee and the Policy Committee. In addition, she serves on the District Contracts and Go Green Committees and is board liaison to the Music Program. Nadine Antonini

Mrs. Antonini has been a member of the Board of Education since 2007. She currently serves as Board Secretary, Chairperson of the Government/Legislative Committee and serves on the following Board of Education committees: Buildings and Grounds/Life Safety, Finance, Landscape Beautification and Policy. In addition, Mrs. Antonini is a classroom volunteer, fluency lab volunteer, PFA hot dog day Chairperson, and a former Executive Board member of the PFA. Mrs. Antonini’s community service includes serving as a Catechist at Saint Alexander Church and being actively involved in many community projects and events. John Faustino

Mr. Faustino has been a member of the Board of Education since April 2009. He is the Chairperson of the Communications Committee and currently serves on the Board of Education District Contracts, Finance, and Technology Committees. In addition, he serves as the Board liaison to the Foundation and the Music Programs. Mr. Faustino formerly served on the Palos 118 Educational foundation as Treasurer. Mr. Faustino’s past community service includes serving as a board member for theaterinchicago.com. He is Vice-President of Morningstar, Inc. Mr. Faustino has a B.Sc. in Finance from the University of Illinois, M.S.c. in Decision Sciences from the London School of Economics and M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. Meredith Marran

Meredith Marran was elected to the Board of Education in April, 2013, and has been a resident of Palos 118 since 1976. Mrs. Marran has spent time volunteering in Palos 118 classrooms assisting teachers with crafts, reading, math facts, and room parties. She holds a BS in Nursing from St. Mary's of Notre Dame, and an MS in Nurse Anesthesia from Webster University. Mrs. Marran was a Pediatric and Neonatal ICU Nurse at Hope Children’s Hospital, and is currently a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Mrs. Marran can be reached by email at .

Katie Thomason |

Katie Thomason was elected to the Board of Education in April, 2013. She is an active member of the community, having serving on the District 230 Student Services Committee, and the Registration and Advancement Chair for Cub Scout Pack 3699. She has also volunteered for many PFA activities, including Sham-Rock-n-Roll, Art Awareness, Hot Dog Day, Mother-Son Bash, and Daisy Scouts. Mrs. Thomason has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University.
