ART EDUCATION
Palos East

Art is the language children use to express themselves.

      ART EDUCATION Palos East

Philosophy
Everyday our children have the opportunity to
develop basic life skills such as problem solving,
creative thinking, and imagination through their art.

The children’s art experience at school helps develop
an appreciation of other cultures.  It also helps them understand art and its relationship to social studies and history.  Art is the common language that all people share.

The Palos East tradition completely covers the core art elements, fine art techniques and includes art history and assessment.  In art class, the students will explore the art elements of:  line, pattern, shape, texture, form, space, balance, and color.

Art Fair
The 14th annual Palos East Art Fair and Ice Cream Social will be held on May 1, 2008.  Hope to see you there!
