"Rendezvous with a Comet"
"Rendezvous with a Comet" is an opportunity for Palos East fifth graders
to become mission specialists, astronauts, scientists, and engineers, as
they explore the vastness of space.
We will encounter Comet Enke as it is hurtling through space! Our
mission is to build and launch a probe to pass through the tail of the
comet to collect data that will help us learn about the past, present,
and future of our solar system.
