The ‘Real’ World

The year is 2018 and you are a young adult, just starting out in the workforce.  You have been offered a job in your chosen field in the following cities: Chicago, Illinois, San Diego, California, Tampa, Florida,  Boston, Massachusetts, and Seattle, Washington.  You and your roommate(s) are now ready to embark on a new journey into real life.  What do you need to know about each of these cities in order to make a decision about which city would support the lifestyle you wish to live?  Example: Does your income vary according to location?
You need to consider how you will manage your money on a day-to-day cost of living basis.  Be prepared to come back and share your ideas and questions about your expenses.
You will be asked to present the information you obtained about your job, location, and cost of living expenses.  Your presentation must include the following information:
A business letter requesting salary or city information.
A paper describing your job and location.
A budget outline for one month.
A balanced checkbook showing monthly expenses.
  A graph illustrating monthly expenses.
