comparing 3D figures (cubes, spheres, pyramids, cylinders and prisms)
- comparing size of objects and containers
using correct vocabulary (i.e: longer, longest, shorter, shortest,
taller, and tallest)
- justifying size comparisons using direct
comparisons or non standard units of measurement
- using positional words correctly (i.e:
above, below, inside, outside, on, off, under and between)
- giving an estimate for a set of objects
and determine if that estimate is reasonable
- identifying and stating the value of a
penny, nickel, dime, and quarter.
