Ron Cozza, Principal 708-448-6888 This is Mr. Cozza’s fourth year as the principal of Palos West. He continues to strive to work with the entire learning community to ensure that he provide the best possible educational experiences for our students. He is humbled to be working with such wonderful people who are truly committed to excellence. Mr. Cozza’s career began fifteen years ago as a middle school language arts teacher. It was then that he realized he wanted to become a school leader and accept the challenges that accompany this tremendous responsibility. Mr. Cozza received a Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Illinois University and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Governors State University. He currently reside in the far southwest suburbs with his wife and two children ages 6 and 8. |
Dr. Kathryn Smith, Assistant
Principal 708-448-6888 Dr. Smith holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Florida and has a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Gulf Coast University. Recently, she earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from National-Louis University. Dr. Smith was a grade 2-5 classroom teacher for 5 years, a teacher of the Gifted for 3 years and a Grant Facilitator for state curriculum units for 2 years. She has been the assistant principal at Palos West for 8 years. Dr. Smith is married and has one son. |
