Description:
Students will be assigned to a group with four other students. Each group
will be assigned an individual who has been allegedly involved in espionage.
Students will research the person and the facts pertaining to the allegations.
Next each group will plan a persuasive presentation to deliver to the entire
class who will decide the innocence or guilt based on what they have heard.
Possible
spies: Alger Hiss, Klaus
Fuches, Robert Oppenheimer, Theodore Hall, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg,
and Joesph McCarthy
