Palos South Choir

    There are three main ensembles at the middle school.  Cardinal Choir is an extracurricular choir open to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.  We rehearse Wednesday mornings during zero hour in the Music Room.  Along with our two large performances during the year, this choir also represents Palos South at the Choir contest in March.

    Encore is an extracurricular choir open to all 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.  We rehearse Tuesday mornings during zero hour in the Music Room.  This choir performs at our Winter and Spring concerts.

    Showstoppers is our only auditioned group.  They will begin rehearsing the third week in October.  Twenty of our strongest singers rehearse two times a week after school for forty-five minutes.  This group requires dedication and a true love of performance.  All Cardinal Choir and Encore members are eligible to audition.

Thursday, September 11, 2008 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in

the Red Gym. We will begin preparing for the MPA

sponsored Octoberfest and the winter program
